A land Krait / 2011-12-14 19:46:23 The land krait is one of the most poisonous snakes in Taiwan. It is very distinctive with its white stripes all down the body and is nocturnal. This snake was about 1.3m long. 24 percent of bites are fatal. This photograph was taken in the mountains in Taiwan when I was out cycling at 11pm. | |||
